Emma is a UK-qualified Senior Associate specialising in employment law, advising businesses with operations in the UAE, wider Middle East, and the UK. Based in the UAE, she supports local and multinational clients across a broad range of employment and labour law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Emma has extensive experience advising on compliance with UAE Federal Labour Law, as well as employment regulations in the region’s key free zones, including the DIFC and ADGM. She also regularly advises on employment matters across the GCC.
Her practice includes advising on employee relations, dismissals, employment litigation, contractual disputes, data privacy breaches, and enforcement of restrictive covenants. Emma is also experienced in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional employment law projects, including global contract harmonisation, restructuring, and redundancy exercises.
