Ishan has led large-scale VAT and eInvoicing implementation projects, supported businesses with tax compliance and structuring, and worked closely with government authorities on matters related to VAT policy and e-invoicing across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt. His expertise lies in aligning tax with business strategy and enabling digital tax transformation across sectors.

He has spearheaded numerous high-impact engagements involving VAT legislation and policy development, working closely with Ministries of Finance and government authorities across the region. His expertise lies in bridging technical tax frameworks with commercial realities, helping public and private sector stakeholders align on key policy decisions and implementation strategies.

Marc Alhachem is a Manager in the Tax and Legal Services division at PwC Middle East, based in the UAE. He focuses on indirect tax technology and elnvoicing implementation, supporting multinational clients with regulatory compliance, data readiness, and system integration in the context of the UAE's elnvoicing mandate. Before joining PwC Middle East, Marc worked at PwC France on similar matters, including elnvoicing strategy, VAT compliance, and ERP system alignment. His experience covers both the European and Middle Eastern regulatory frameworks, particularly in relation to Peppol-based models.
