Khalid Sharaf serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Sales and Business Development at DMCC, the world’s leading business district and a global authority on commodities trade and enterprise.
In his role, Khalid leads the expansion of the organisation’s corporate sales strategies and business development initiatives. His work focuses on attracting global companies, strengthening DMCC’s international footprint, and driving strategic partnerships that reinforce DMCC’s position as the premier hub for trade, commodities and innovation.
Prior to joining DMCC, Khalid held several senior roles within the UAE Government. As Director of the UAE Government Leaders Programme at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, he oversaw national leadership development initiatives and guided high-level engagements during the annual World Governments Summit in Dubai. He also held roles at Expo 2020 Dubai and Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA).
He holds an Executive MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston; and a Higher Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Arab EmiratesH.E Nguyen Thanh Diep is a distinguished diplomat, born on September 14, 1975, in Hai Phong City, Viet Nam.
His academic journey led him to pursue a Bachelor and Master's degree in German Language in the University of Jena - one of the top universities in Germany. Fluent in German and English, he possesses a understanding of intercultural communication.
His career in diplomacy began from December 1998 in the Central Commission for External Relations of the Communist Party of Viet Nam when he assumed the role of Desk Officer at The Soviet Union-Eastern Europe Department, Northwestern Europe-North America Department (2001 - 2011), Head of Division at the Administrative Office, then the Secretary of the Vice Chairman (2011 - 2012). The Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam is a key agency that advises the policy and organizes foreign affairs activities of Viet Nam's ruling party.
Over the years, he demonstrated exemplary dedication and expertise, leading to appointments to key positions within the Commission as Deputy Director General and subsequently as Director General of The Middle East-Africa-Latin America Department. In these role, he plays a pivotal role in fostering party-to-party relations of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and political parties, and made significant contribution to the development of foreign relations between Viet Nam and countries around the world.
In March 2024, he assumed the prestigious position of Ambassador of Viet Nam to the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant milestone in his diplomatic career. In this capacity, he continues to uphold Viet Nam's interests while fostering friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and the UAE.
