Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC and has driven its growth from a start-up of 28 member companies in 2003 to the world’s leading free zone in 2020 with over 18,000 member companies from 170 countries, employing over 60,000 people.
Tasked with enhancing commodity trade flows through Dubai, DMCC has introduced to market a number of value-added products and services under Mr Bin Sulayem’s leadership. In 2019, DMCC was named the ‘Global Free Zone of the Year’ by The Financial Times fDi Magazine, for a record sixth consecutive year.
Mr Bin Sulayem oversaw the exponential growth of the DMCC Free Zone master development in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a 200-hectare business and residential community in Dubai of over 100,000 people living and working across 68 towers. Mr Bin Sulayem also oversees the development of DMCC’s latest real estate project; the much-anticipated Uptown Dubai district.
Mr Bin Sulayem currently serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX).
The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.

She has been in charge of this area of activity in Extenda since 2009. She helped to develop Extenda’s international network that nowadays reaches 62 countries from the 38 premises Extenda has all around the globe.
Her professional qualifications are in the area of international marketing and business studies and in the last year she has been focusing her training activities in digital transformation.

As a Director of Investment Promotion Division at Dubai FDI, Dubai FDI, the foreign investment promotion agency in the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai, Ibrahim Ahli assists investors with their service requirements and supports companies looking to set up in Dubai or any of its free zones to serve local, regional and international markets.
Ibrahim has a solid background in destination marketing and customer relations, having worked in the travel & tourism industry for more than 12 years during which he has led various promotion campaigns for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. He started his career with the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Dubai where he was Manager Overseas Promotions for 10 years. He has also led successful marketing and brand management initiatives over a period of six years as Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications in the Dubai Airport Free Zone and as Director of Marketing for the Dubai Flower Centre, a perishable goods transshipment hub.
Ibrahim steers the investor outreach and promotion efforts of Dubai FDI with his vast experience in attracting international business and supporting them to establish their operations in the United Arab Emirates in general and in Dubai specifically. His main focus in on identifying the best source markets for foreign direct investment (FDI) into Dubai and cementing the emirate’s position as the best investment destination in the Middle East. Spanish Business Council UAE
Albert Jové Franco is an Attorney-At-Law admitted to Barcelona’s Bar Association and is registered as a Legal Consultant at the Ruler’s Court of Dubai. He is also The Head of the Spanish Desk in the Dubai office of SCHLÜTER GRAF.
In his professional career he was previously working for large insurance companies and banks in Spain. As the Head of the Spanish Desk, he regularly advises Spanish companies, multinational corporations and SMEs on corporate and commercial legal matters.
Furthermore, since 2018 Albert was also the vice chairman of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UAE, an association that gathers the major Spanish companies in the UAE.
Albert Jové is listed and recommended by various professional directories including the Spanish Embassy in the United Arab Emirates and the Commercial Office of Spain in the UAE (ICEX). He also is a member of the German-Emirati Joint Council (AHK) and the Austrian Business Council.

Rosario Millan is the Director at Extenda-Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia in the UAE. She has held this role in Dubai since 2011, from where she has contributed to develop the expansion of Extenda´s activities to the neighbouring countries of the GCC.
Rosario Millan has been providing support to Andalusian companies interested in entering the UAE and GCC markets, as well as to the UAE companies interested in entering the market of Andalusia in Spain.
Rosario holds a Degree in Law from Sevilla University as well as Masters of International law from the College of Europe.

James started his career working in the London financial markets for several international institutions and trading houses where he developed his passion for commodities, logistics, and global trade. He later incorporated his own group of companies producing, distributing and trading in physical commodities and derivatives.
After joining DMCC in 2006 as Associate Director of Commodities he took over as Director of Business Development in 2009, leading the next stage of growth for DMCC Free Zone which to date has attracted over 17,000 companies to its central Dubai location.
In his next role as DMCC Head of Corp Sales he has helped to successfully take DMCC on to achieve unprecedented growth and to develop into a multi award winning Free Zone.
James was recently appointed as DMCC’s European representative and operates from offices in the Netherlands.
As one of the founding members of the DMCC ‘Blockchain Innovation Group’ and ‘Global Blockchain Council’ he continues to assist in the development of Dubai as a global sector hub and DMCC as a global crypto ecosystem.

RLD - UAE
Leticia is specialized in commercial law and internationalization of companies.
She counts with wide experience in internationalization and corporate advice as well as international professional background in America, Asia and Middle East. Leticia joined RLD's UAE office in 2015 and since then she has worked helping many companies to establish in the country.
Leticia runs the daily operative of RLD's office in the UAE and provides advice for the incorporation of companies, M&A transactions and business secretary services, among other activities.
Leticia has a law and business administration degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) of Madrid as well as a master's degree in International Business Management from the ICEX-CECO.
In addition, Leticia is member of the Bar Association of Madrid.

Banco Sabadell
Director of the Representative Office of Banco Sabadell in Dubai with coverage on Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Lebanon and Jordan.
Bachelor of Law and certified lawyer by ICAM, having more than 20 years of experience in different financial entities, always within the international scope. He has developed his professional career at Banco Sabadell, Banco Atlántico, Caixabank (Paris), BCH (Paris) or AXA (Montreal). He has studied Financial Advisor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Economics at the Sorbonne in Paris and the CEF in Madrid.
