Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC and has driven its growth from a start-up of 28 member companies in 2003 to the world’s leading free zone in 2022 with over 21,000 member companies from 180 countries, employing over 65,000 people.
Tasked with enhancing commodity trade flows through Dubai, DMCC has introduced to the market a number of value-added products and services under Mr Bin Sulayem’s leadership. In 2022, DMCC was named the ‘Global Free Zone of the Year’ by The Financial Times fDi Magazine, for a record eight consecutive years.
Mr Bin Sulayem oversaw the exponential growth of the DMCC Free Zone master development in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a 200-hectare business and residential community in Dubai of over 100,000 people living and working in 87 towers. Mr Bin Sulayem also oversees the development of DMCC’s latest real estate project; the much-anticipated Uptown Dubai district.
Mr Bin Sulayem currently serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX).
The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.

Trade Commissioner Director of the Foreign Trade Administration, Ministry of Economy and Industry
Ohad has been the Trade Commissioner and Director of the Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy and Industry since 2012.
He is responsible for an annual budget of 80 million USD and manages 300 employees in Israel and around the world, working in Israel and in 50 Economic and Commercial Missions, located in the most important economic centers globally. These Missions promote Israeli exports and attract foreign investments to Israel.
Ohad is in charge of Israel's international trade policy. As the Trade Commissioner, he led a strategic move to expand Israel’s Free Trade Area (FTA) Agreements network. In this framework, Israel signed a record number of new and updated agreements, among them with Guatemala, UAE, South Korea, Ukraine, Canada, Colombia, Panama, and the United Kingdom. In addition, Ohad initiated negotiations to establish FTA Agreements with several countries, including China and Vietnam. These agreements are still being negotiated.
Ohad initiated the establishment of the "Smart Money" program to assist exporters who are entering new markets abroad. Ohad is the committee chairman of the program, which had a budget of 30 million USD in 2022.
Before he was nominated as Director of the Foreign Trade Administration, between 2007- 2012, Ohad was the Head of Israel’s Economic Mission in Washington DC. In this position, he was responsible for strengthening and advancing the trade and investments between Israel and the United States and enhancing the competitivity of the Israeli industry in the American markets by developing and promoting trade agreements, removing trade barriers, locating and creating business opportunities for Israeli companies, promoting Israel’s economic public relations, encouraging bilateral joint ventures and providing individual assistance to companies.
Ohad joined the Foreign Trade Administration as part of the prestigious cadet course of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, and has held several significant roles within it since then: Director of the South Europe Department, Cadet Course Manager, Head of the Economic Mission to Sweden, which covered the entire Nordic area, Deputy Director of the Bilateral Trade Agreements Division, and Head of the Economic Mission to Jordan.

Mickey Blumenthal, CPA (Isr.) is a managing partner at Fahn Kanne & Co. He has extensive expertise in accounting and auditing of public and private companies and provides consulting services to many companies in the fields of economics, transaction accompaniment, business plans, company valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Blumenthal accompanies entrepreneurial companies from the startup phases through successful business ventures. Boaz Moldawsky, President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, is a second-generation diamantaire, whose family was among the founders of the Israel diamond industry. He has been active in public service to the industry for many years, serving as Chairman of the Israel Diamond Institute, Deputy President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, Chairman of its Finance Committee, and a member of the board of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association. Moldawsky is co-CEO of the Moldawsky Group, which specializes in diamonds, real estate, and technology.
Executive Director - Commodities & Financial Services, DMCC
Sanjeev Dutta is the Executive Director of Commodities and Financial Services at DMCC. He oversees DMCC’s commodities vertical, and directs the development, implementation and regulation of the organisation’s financial products, platforms and services.
An expert on trade finance and commodity markets, Sanjeev is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for DMCC and nurturing existing commercial partnerships. He was instrumental in establishing the DMCC Tea Centre, DMCC Coffee Centre and the award-winning DMCC Tradeflow platform, and now tasked with enhancing the trade of agri and softs, precious metals and stones through Dubai.
Sanjeev is a senior member of DMCC’s executive leadership team and supports the general management, strategic direction and growth initiatives of the organisation. Sanjeev devised and implemented the organisation’s Code of Corporate Governance, and established its comprehensive risk management protocol.
Joining on its inception, Sanjeev has held a number of senior roles within DMCC and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DCGX). A distinguished speaker, Sanjeev regularly represents DMCC at international industry events and is an expert on trade, commodities and Islamic Finance.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sanjeev has over two decades of multi-industry expertise in auditing, financial controls, consulting, risk management, corporate governance and general management with both PwC and KPMG.

Ms. Nahmias-Verbin was appointed in January 2022 as the Chairperson of The Israel Export Institute.
Ms. Nahmias-Verbin served as Member of Knesset on behalf of the Zionist Union/Labor party between 2015 - 2019. She was a member of the Economic committee, defense and foreign relations committee, and the house committee. Ms. Nahmias-Verbin also headed the Industry caucus and was awarded "best parliamentarian" by the Israel Democracy Institute in 2016.
Following her tenure in the Knesset, Ms. Nahmias-Verbin assumed various roles and leadingpositions in the business and public sector, implementing her unique multi-disciplinary expertise and knowledge. She currently serves as Vice President of the Manufacturer's Association of Israel, Chairperson of Tavlit Plastic (a family-owned factory specializing in irrigation and water technologies) and serves as a board member in several companies - in technology, renewable energies and fintech.
In addition, Ms. Nahmias-Verbin acts as the chair of Jready – the global crises management network by the Jewish agency, chair of the fund for the victims of terror as well as Chair of the Board of the Ben Gurion House in Tel Aviv, and as a leading expert in corporate governance, she still makes the time to teach and train in senior management courses in Lahav, the management faculty at the Tel Aviv university.
Ms. Nahmias-Verbin graduated with an LLB from the Hebrew University and holds an LLM in Commercial Law from the Tel Aviv university.

Eran Zini has been Managing Director of the Israel Diamond Exchange since 2018, after a career in the business and political spheres. He served as CEO at the government-owned company Hameshakem, as head of the Government Relations in Better Place, global electric car infrastructure and Service Company, as senior advisor to the Justice Minister Prof. Daniel Friedman and as parliamentary aide to MK (Maj. Gen.) Danny Yatom, the former head of Mossad. He holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MBA with a specialization in international management.

Igal started his career in the public sector, serving as Chief of Staff to Member of Knesset (The Israeli parliament) and manager of the Israeli Hi-Tech caucus.
As CEO of the Israeli Blockchain Forum, Igal led discussions between lawmakers and the Blockchain industry, suggesting regulatory models to help create a new and adjusted regulatory framework.

Marwan Mohamed Saleh is the Director of Sales and Business Development, Free Zone at DMCC. He brings over 25 years of work experience in strategic planning, marketing and business development, driving international sales and realising business objectives.
Prior to joining DMCC, Mr. Saleh was the Head of Business Development and International Sales at the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).
Mr. Saleh is well-known for his extensive work with Etisalat Afghanistan from 1996 to 2015. He began his career journey as a Government & Corporate Segment Manager. Demonstrating excellence and business acumen, he then climbed the corporate ladder to become Vice President for Etisalat Afghanistan between 2011-2014, before
assuming the role of the CEO at Etisalat Afghanistan.
Mr. Saleh completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He also holds multiple certifications in leadership and organisational leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Business School.
