Dr. Hamad Buamim

Dr. Hamad Buamim is the Chairman of the Board of DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre). Previously, Dr. Hamad served as President and CEO of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2022, where he led key business transformations in Dubai and chaired the ICC World Chambers Federation in Paris from 2018 to 2022.

In addition to his current role at DMCC, Dr. Hamad holds several other leadership and board positions, including Chairman of National General Insurance PJSC and Vice Chairman of Deyaar Properties PJSC. He also serves as a Board Member at Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, International Hotel Investment PLC - Malta, and Economic Zones World (JAFZA).

Dr. Hamad earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Warwick Business School, UK, where he is also a regional chair of the university’s global advisory board; an MBA with honors in Finance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City; and a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hamad has made significant contributions to the success of several high-profile boards, including the UAE Central Bank, Dubai World, Istithmar World, Emirates NBD PJSC, Network International, and Kerzner.

Fatma Nilgün Emrem

Fatma Nilgun Emrem has a career history across multi disciplines and sectors from Banking, Textile and Construction which provided a natural appreciation of different sectors and organizational structures and managing skills to transfer to the consulting field. Her experience in markets extend from Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, GCC, Middle East, United Kingdom, Baltic Region and Africa.

In 2010, established Tamimi Consulting with Tarik Tamimi to extend her knowledge and experience to those investors looking for opportunities in the GCC region. Since its inception Tamimi Consulting has successfully incorporated more than 900 companies in the U.A.E. and continue to be the leading company among Turkish Investors especially. Ümit Barış Hıncal

Mert Danisger

Following several positions in private sector companies, Mert began his international trade and investment promotion career at KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) Istanbul in 2011. During his tenure in this global non-profit organisation, he gained valuable experience in international movement of goods and capital while researching various sectors and industries, pinpointing opportunities in Turkiye for Korean companies, introducing Korean companies to Turkish market.

In 2017, Mert began working for HEPA (Hungarian Export Promotion Agency) doing the same line of work and extended his knowledge and experience to a new geography. He was promoted to HEPA Turkiye Country Director in 2019 and headed the five local offices and the Business Development Team in Turkiye.

As of July 2023, Mert has taken on the role of Chief Representative for Turkiye in Dubai Chambers. Mert is now utilizing his experience and network in promoting Dubai’s Business Environment.

Derya Kaya

Derya Kaya is an international trade and government incentives programme specialist with experience spanning across 3 decades in Turkiye, Middle East and CIS regions. She has worked with both SMEs and large scale multinational firms from various industries such as manufacturing, textile, furniture, automative, machinery, and consumer goods.

She is highly regarded as one of the best technical experts in Turkiye for government incentive programmes and support for product exports.

Khozama Al Saadi

Khozama Al Saadi is Senior Manager in Corporate Sales, Free Zone at DMCC, where she is responsible for operations in Western Europe and Türkiye. She brings a decade of expertise in fostering strategic partnerships, relationships and alliances notably with governments and prominent industry stakeholders.

Prior to joining DMCC, Khozama worked for Dubai Chambers in the Investment Attraction division and has experience in Corporate Sales for Jumeirah Group and Mashreq Bank.

Khozama holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from the American University of Dubai.
