Ahmed Bin Sulayem

Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC and has driven its growth from a start-up of 28 member companies in 2003 to the world’s leading free zone in 2022 with over 22,000 member companies from 180 countries, employing over 65,000 people.

Tasked with enhancing commodity trade flows through Dubai, DMCC has introduced to the market a number of value-added products and services under Mr Bin Sulayem’s leadership. In 2022, DMCC was named the ‘Global Free Zone of the Year’ by The Financial Times fDi Magazine, for a record eight consecutive years.

Mr Bin Sulayem oversaw the exponential growth of the DMCC Free Zone master development in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a 200-hectare business and residential community in Dubai of over 100,000 people living and working in 87 towers. Mr Bin Sulayem also oversees the development of DMCC’s latest real estate project; the much-anticipated Uptown Dubai district.

Mr Bin Sulayem currently serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX).

The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.

Randhir Vikram Singh

Mr. Randhir Vikram Singh helped put Mandawa and the Shekhawati region on the world tourism map, and was among the first to convert his family-owned castle, dating back to 1755, into a Heritage Tourism property in 1979. 

A stalwart of the concept of heritage tourism, Mr. Randhir Vikram Singh is one of the Founder Members of the Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA). He lobbied with the Rajasthan State Government and the Central Government to create a special Heritage Category. This helped owners of castles and havelies get banking loans and other advantages from the government. He has also regularly interacted with the Central and State governments to obtain benefits for the tourism industry. His efforts in the field of heritage tourism helped numerous heritage properties become established as hotel, and in turn led to jobs and sources of income for thousands of families across India. Currently Mr. Randhir Vikram Singh is the Chairman of FICCI Rajasthan State Council and President of Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA).

Rajiv Arora

Mr Rajiv Arora Chairman of the Rajasthan Small Industries Development Corporation & Rajasthan Export Promotion Council. He was also the Ex. Chairman of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, Rajasthan Hotels Corporation Ltd & also the Ex Vice-Chairman of Rajasthan Foundation. He is also the Advisory Head India Bullion & Jewellers Association, Rajasthan & he was the President of Federation of Rajasthan Exporters for 5 consecutive terms. Mr. Rajiv Arora is an entrepreneur and a successful political leader from Jaipur, he is the founder of Amrapali Jewels and was awarded with Leaders of Tomorrow Award by ET NOW.

K B Goyal

Krishna B Goyal is a successful entrepreneur who has established himself as a leader in the gems and jewelry industry over the last 35 years. His journey began in 1987 when he entered the industry as a first-generation entrepreneur. With his hard work and perseverance, he has built a strong team of 200 skilled artisans and designers, catering to an elite client base in Europe, the USA, and India. Mr. Krishna's unique approach to the traditional industry is to integrate state-of-the-art technology with human skill sets, creating a perfect blend that sets him apart from his competitors. He has earned a reputation for being knowledgeable, and trustworthy, and have exceptional integrity in the color stone industry. Ajay Singha

Former Executive Director, American Chamber of Commerce in India. Prior to that worked at the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and rose to become the Deputy Director General.

Considerable experience in drafting and presenting advocacy documents, policy papers and reports relating to industry and economic issues in India. As head of AmCham India interacted extensively with CEOs of US MNCs in India and officials of the US Government in India as well as Washington DC. 

Travelled extensively across Europe, USA and East Asia and represented organizations at international seminars, workshops and summits. Interacted extensively with officials of Governments in India and abroad, with cross-cultural work experience in India, the United States and Germany. 

Managed institutions of public and social importance and associated with sports, social service and civil society organizations. Worked in honorary and voluntary capacities in civil society organizations.

School education from St. Xavier’s Jaipur, Bachelor’s Degree from St. Stephens College Delhi, LL.B from Delhi University and Masters in International Relations while employed. Interests include Playing Golf, Billiards, Trap shooting, Macro photography, reading, writing, study and appreciation of Indian miniature paintings.

N K Jain

From Self-made Entrepreneur to Industrialist to Chairman of 3 Govt. ITIs Mr N K Jain helped approx 2400 students placement in big Corporate like JCB, TATA Motors, Gravita, Eicher Polaris, Honda, Bosch, Suzlon Energy, Genus Power, REIL, NBC, Indian Railway, JVVNL, Shree Cement, HERO, Asain & Mikuni (Japany Company) etc. through his skill development intiaitves. Govt ITI Beawar under the chairmanship of Mr N K Jain received Best ITI of India out of 1396 ITI’s in PPP Model for Skill Development on 1st November, 2018 in Delhi by Skill Development Minister, Shri Anant Kumar Hegle, Best ITI of Rajasthan Trophy year 2017-18 by Chief Minister, Ms Vasundhara Raje for Best results, Training & Placement performed in remote area of Rajasthan. One of student of Beawar ITI, Miss Neha Sangela from very poor Background awarded by Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 15th July – World Youth Skills day in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Mr Jain is also the Member of Board of Studies of Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur, Member in Rajasthan State Steering Committee for Skill Development, Member of BOS of Rajasthan ILD Skill Development University (RISU) and Member of Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Manipal University, Jaipur.

Zakir Hussain

Zakir Hussain is at the helm of Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan as the 15th GEAR President, contributing to the welfare of the garment exporters through his Perseverance and Assertiveness. He believes in leading from the front and inspiring all with his conscientious work. He comes from a well-known business family and has extensive knowledge of apparel sector and precious stones. He has more than 30 years of experience in the garment industry. Sharing his wisdom and knowledge with everyone, regarding the industry speaks volumes of his modesty and humbleness. Sh. Zakir Hussain is the owner of Cotfab India, exporting to countries across the globe. He also has the honour of being Executive Committee Member of AEPC, a globally reputed council. He has travelled far and wide to almost 70 countries, learning nuances of the garment industry.

Nawal Agarwal

Nawal Agrawal is post graduate & PhD. in science. He joined his family business of Gems & Jewellery in the year 1979. He is a a veteran member of Jeweller’s Association of Jaipur, He is Co-Owner of M/s Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jeweller, having outlets at Jaipur & Delhi. Dr. Agrawal is convener of Gold Jewellery & Other Precious Metal Committee of Gems & Jewellery export promotion council of India. He is also Chairman of Indian Institute Of Gem Jewellery, a project of GJEPC. He is a Founder board member of Jaipur Jewellery Show. Patron of Sarafa Trading Committee Jaipur. He is a Honorary Secretary Jaipur Calgary Eye Hospital. A Charitable Hospital.

Dinesh Pratap Singh

Mr Dinesh Pratap Singh is the co-founder of WoodenStreet.com, which is India’s fastest-growing furniture eCommerce company and has 100 experience stores across the country. He started Woodenstreet along with Lokendra Singh Ranawat, Virendra Singh Ranawat and Vikas Baheti. After gaining a rich experience of 10 + years in renowned organizations such as CSC India Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd, JRG Securities and P&G, he initiated Woodenstreet. Dinesh focused on creating Woodenstreet, a platform that provides premium quality furniture in the latest trends and styles, along with affordable prices. The aim was to fulfill every customer’s need in the most compact manner possible. His Vision Behind Establishing WoodenStreet To provide affordable furniture in a variety of styles with a focus on innovation and providing better utility to every customer’s home, the idea was to eliminate middlemen and directly connect with makers to provide value-for-money products. Amit Dhamani

Sanjeev Dutta

Sanjeev Dutta is the Executive Director of Commodities and Financial Services at DMCC. He oversees DMCC’s commodities vertical, and directs the development, implementation and regulation of the organisation’s financial products, platforms and services.

An expert on trade finance and commodity markets, Sanjeev is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for DMCC and nurturing existing commercial partnerships. He was instrumental in establishing the DMCC Tea Centre, DMCC Coffee Centre and the award-winning DMCC Tradeflow platform, and now tasked with enhancing the trade of agri and softs, precious metals and stones through Dubai.

Sanjeev is a senior member of DMCC’s executive leadership team and supports the general management, strategic direction and growth initiatives of the organisation. Sanjeev devised and implemented the organisation’s Code of Corporate Governance, and established its comprehensive risk management protocol.

Joining on its inception, Sanjeev has held a number of senior roles within DMCC and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DCGX). A distinguished speaker, Sanjeev regularly represents DMCC at international industry events and is an expert on trade, commodities and Islamic Finance.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sanjeev has over two decades of multi-industry expertise in auditing, financial controls, consulting, risk management, corporate governance and general management with both PwC and KPMG.

Marwan Saleh

Marwan Mohamed Saleh is the Director of Sales and Business Development, Free Zone at DMCC. He brings over 25 years of work experience in strategic planning, marketing and business development, driving international sales and realising business objectives.

Prior to joining DMCC, Mr. Saleh was the Head of Business Development and International Sales at the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

Mr. Saleh is well-known for his extensive work with Etisalat Afghanistan from 1996 to 2015. He began his career journey as a Government & Corporate Segment Manager. Demonstrating excellence and business acumen, he then climbed the corporate ladder to become Vice President for Etisalat Afghanistan between 2011-2014, before
assuming the role of the CEO at Etisalat Afghanistan.

Mr. Saleh completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He also holds multiple certifications in leadership and organisational leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Business School.

Dr Martin Leake

Dr Martin Leake is a Special Advisor for Precious Stones at DMCC. Appointed to the position in June 2018, Martin is responsible for expanding and diversifying DMCC’s Precious Stone portfolio and helping Dubai grow into the world’s number one diamond-trading hub.

As Company Secretary of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), Martin focuses on driving trade through the Exchange by forging, and strengthening commercial partnerships with stakeholders across the diamond industry, to improve governance, compliance and responsible sourcing. He also chairs the organising committee for DMCC’s flagship diamond event, the Dubai Diamond Conference (DDC).

With over 15 years of experience in marketing both rough and polished diamonds, Martin is an expert on the economics of diamond mining, and an internationally recognised exploration geologist in gold, diamonds, copper, iron ore and coal.

Prior to joining DMCC, Martin worked with BHP Billiton Diamonds Marketing and Grib Diamonds and has extensive experience in marketing, sales and business development. Across his career, Martin has lived and worked in 10 countries spanning Africa, Europe, Australia North and South America, and the Middle East.

Martin is a Board Member of the World Diamond Council, a member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology and a PhD in Exploration Geology from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.
