Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC and has driven its growth from a start-up of 28 member companies in 2003 to the world’s leading free zone in 2022 with over 23,000 member companies from 180 countries, employing over 65,000 people.
Tasked with enhancing commodity trade flows through Dubai, DMCC has introduced to the market a number of value-added products and services under Mr Bin Sulayem’s leadership. Mr Bin Sulayem oversaw the exponential growth of the DMCC Free Zone master development in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a 200-hectare business and residential community in Dubai of over 100,000 people living and working in 87 towers. Mr Bin Sulayem also oversees the development of DMCC’s latest real estate project; the much-anticipated Uptown Dubai district.
Mr Bin Sulayem currently serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX).
The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.

Alejandro Diaz Torres is the president of FIDATEC ONG Colombia. He holds the highest administrative position in FIDATEC ONG Colombia. During the last three years he has led the office of management and administration of the region brand - made in risaralda, and led the team that structured the technical, legal, administrative, and financial criteria for the linking of companies that receive the license to use the region brand - made in risaralda. He currently advises companies linked to the region brand, on issues of business strengthening that allows them to participate successfully in local, national and international markets. He is a lecturer in the area of business and commercial strengthening, commercial manager for the opening of new international markets for the companies linked to the region brand - made in risaralda.
The international foundation for innovation, sustainable development and advancement of technology, is an ngo - non-profit entity, founded in colombia in 2002, has specialized in building alliances and synergies with public and private entities to support vulnerable communities in the country through the development of projects based on social innovation.
FIDATEC ONG Colombia in association with the government of risaralda, currently manages and administers the region brand - made in risaralda which to date has generated more than 1.7 billion pesos in new business, thanks to the management of new business contacts generated through the region brand - made in risaralda.

Luis Duque Hernandez is a business administrator with a specialization in Planning and Strategic Management from the Universidad Libre.
He has an outstanding track record in the field of administration and strategic management, with solid skills in the development of effective strategies to achieve the objectives of an organization and optimize its performance. His skills include data analysis, project management, decision making, leadership and teamwork.
He currently serves as Secretary of Agricultural Development for the department of Risaralda, where he leads the formulation and supervision of projects, reporting, organization and budget execution, as well as support in the planning and programming of activities.
With work experience spanning more than 8 years in the agricultural sector, Luis Alberto has developed a deep understanding of the needs of producers and has structured high impact projects for all production chains, including coffee growing, generating investment projects for more than 28 billion pesos. Among his most outstanding achievements is the structuring of the strengthening of the laboratories of the associations of Dosquebradas, Quinchía, Santuario and Apia.

Daniel Henao Castaño is an agronomist from the University Corporation of Santa Rosa de Cabal - UNISAR. Specialist in Senior Management from the Universidad Libre de Pereira.
He is considered a Third Generation Coffee Grower, with more than 20 years of experience in the cultivation of Specialty Coffees in the department of Risaralda and at national level.
He provides support and consultancy in models and operation of cooperatives and associative models in three departments of Colombia (Risaralda, Caldas and Quindío).
He has more than 15 years of experience as a coffee grower in commercial models and 4 years of experience in specialty coffee growing.
Daniel has extensive knowledge of the links in the value chain of specialty coffee in the department of Risaralda with an experience of more than 2 years.
Exhibitor in different international fairs specialized in Specialty Coffee such as: Boston (USA), Portland (USA), Brazil among others.

Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed is a Senior Manager of Corporate Sales at DMCC, the world’s leading Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise.
Joining DMCC in 2014, Mohammed is responsible for promoting the benefits of doing business in Dubai and establishing a presence in DMCC. Building strategic relationships is a key focus for Mohammed, and so too is engaging with local and international business communities at key industry events throughout the year.
With over 16 years of business development and corporate sales experience, Mohammed has worked alongside a number of senior figures in both the public and private sectors of the United Arab Emirates. Mohammed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the American University in Emirates.
