The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.
Vice-Governor of the State of Espírito Santo
Jacqueline is married, mother of three children, born in Duque de Caxias (RJ). She came to the state at age 12 and made Espírito Santo her home. She is a solo entrepreneur and law student. She was a councilor in the municipality of Cariacica between 2013 and 2016.
She began her political life in community and grassroots movements.
During her term as councilor in Cariacica, she was vice-president of the Board of Directors and rapporteur of important commissions, such as health, education and social assistance.
She presented several projects aimed at defending women, such as the permanent forum for debates in favor of the eradication of violence against women. She was also an advocate of organic food in municipal schools.
She is a militant in the socialist women's segment and active in the political and community areas, especially in the peripheries. She is part of the National Directory of the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB).

Sanjeev Dutta is the Executive Director of Commodities and Financial Services at DMCC. He oversees DMCC’s commodities vertical, and directs the development, implementation and regulation of the organisation’s financial products, platforms and services.
An expert on trade finance and commodity markets, Sanjeev is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for DMCC and nurturing existing commercial partnerships. He was instrumental in establishing the DMCC Tea Centre, DMCC Coffee Centre and the award-winning DMCC Tradeflow platform, and now tasked with enhancing the trade of agri and softs, precious metals and stones through Dubai.
Sanjeev is a senior member of DMCC’s executive leadership team and supports the general management, strategic direction and growth initiatives of the organisation. Sanjeev devised and implemented the organisation’s Code of Corporate Governance, and established its comprehensive risk management protocol.
Joining on its inception, Sanjeev has held a number of senior roles within DMCC and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DCGX). A distinguished speaker, Sanjeev regularly represents DMCC at international industry events and is an expert on trade, commodities and Islamic Finance.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sanjeev has over two decades of multi-industry expertise in auditing, financial controls, consulting, risk management, corporate governance and general management with both PwC and KPMG.

Graduated in Civil Construction, in Lisbon/Portugal, he is an entrepreneur and partner and founder of Cinco Estrelas Construtora, a construction company, which has been operating in the market since 1986. He is president of the Civil Construction Industry Union in Espírito Santo (siduscon) since 2016 and is vice president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Espírito Santo (Findes). He also acted in the organization and foundation of the Portuguese Chamber of Business of Espírito Santo, being its first president.

Ricardo Claudino Pessanha, 42, is a lawyer graduated from UFES, postgraduate in Public Law from FDV and in Tax Law by the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET). Born in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Pessanha is married and father of two children.
He served as deputy attorney for the Municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim and general attorney for the cities of Viana and Linhares and Victoria City Council. In the state administration, he held the positions of Undersecretary of State for Government and Undersecretary of Management and Partnerships at Sectides. He currently serves as Secretary of State for Innovation and Development.
