Ahmed Bin Sulayem is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC and has driven its growth from a start-up of 28 member companies in 2003 to the world’s leading free zone in 2020 with over 18,000 member companies from 180 countries, employing over 60,000 people.
Tasked with enhancing commodity trade flows through Dubai, DMCC has introduced to the market a number of value-added products and services under Mr Bin Sulayem’s leadership. In 2020, DMCC has been named the ‘Global Free Zone of the Year’ by The Financial Times fDi Magazine, for a record sixth consecutive year.
Mr Bin Sulayem oversaw the exponential growth of the DMCC Free Zone master development in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a 200-hectare business and residential community in Dubai of over 100,000 people living and working across 87 towers. Mr Bin Sulayem also oversees the development of DMCC’s latest real estate project; the much-anticipated Uptown Dubai district.
Mr Bin Sulayem currently serves as the Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX).
The Kimberley Process officially appointed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the first and only Arab country to Chair the Kimberley Process in November 2015. Shortly after, the UAE Ministry of Economy officially appointed Mr Bin Sulayem as the UAE’s Chair of the Kimberley Process for 2016.

A Romanian diplomat, HE Nicoleta Teodorovici appointed in 2015 as the Consul General of Romania in Dubai, strongly believes in her mission to protect the rights and interests of Romanian citizens, to develop Romania's economic, commercial, tourist, cultural and scientific bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates, to establish and support a continuous dialogue with the Emirates' counterparts to find the common ground for fruitful cooperation and successful joint projects, to highlight the national values, culture, history and traditions, as well as to improve friendly relations with the host country.

She managed high-level working visits of the ministers of the Romanian Government including Romanian Prime Ministers, high-level delegations of the United Arab Emirates in the home country, and has experience in creating opportunities for investors interested in Romania, providing them with her full support to both government and private companies, as a part of her daily routine, and also she really enjoys sustaining the Romanian companies that want to develop their successful business in the United Arab Emirates.

HE Nicoleta Teodorovici took her natural love for exploring places, culture, civilisation, geopolitics and connecting people and earned a Bachelor's degree in geography and tourism. She also expanded her horizon of knowledge, following her passion for diplomacy, graduating from the Romanian Diplomatic Institute, as well as pursued masters in communication & public relations, marketing & business communication, political marketing, which helped her to activate in top management in the private sector, government administration – Ministry of Agriculture, a parliamentary counsellor at the Romanian Parliament, Senate.

Mr Marko Selaković, DBAc, MBA, B.Sc. is Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Dubai Office since 2019.
He is multi-awarded international communications, stakeholder relations, crisis communications and management specialist.
A resident of the UAE since 2015, Mr Selakovic served as an adviser to the President of Al Jazira SC (until 2017) and serves as a faculty member (2017-present), director of institutional development (2018-2020) and director of Europe operations (2020-present) at SP Jain School of Global Management - Dubai, Sydney, Singapore, Mumbai.
During his career in Serbia, Mr Selakovic advised the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, Minister of Regional Development and Minister of Youth and Sports (2008-2012) and acted as spokesperson of the parliamentary political party (2012-2014). He was the principal consultant of German GIZ (2007-2014) and Care International (2005-2006) for policy development and organisational development. Mr Selaković is also the Vice-President of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) GCC Chapter (2018-onwards).
A scholar of Konrad Adenauer Foundation and alumna of the Council of Europe Leadership Program, Mr Selakovic is an author or co-author of more than 10 research papers published at peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. In addition to fluent English, German and Serbian, he is also able to communicate in Russian and Arabic.

Mr Adil Abdelwahab, MBA, MSc. is Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency office in Dubai since 2020.
He is multi-awarded international communication, stakeholder relations, crisis communications and management specialist.
Mr Adil Abdelwahab has over 19 years of direct P&L and C-suite management responsibility with experience spanning Banking, Insurance, as well as Management Consulting.
Apart from working in established companies in those sectors, Mr Adil Abdelwahab has also led an AI-empowered insurance startup in Central & Eastern Europe.
In addition to Polish, he is also able to communicate in English and Arabic.

Margarita Skavronska is a general manager and lawyer with an M.L. excellence diploma with 13 years of experience in legal support of transnational M&A, legal due diligence, transnational agreements reviewing, corporate agreements, MOU, LOI, STA, exclusive SHA drafting, international holding structuring (worked with over 23 jurisdictions).
She provides consultations for multinational projects entering new markets (Bank4you, TaxFree entering Luxemburg, France, Germany market; Cupid.net entering EU market), that requires highly qualified analysis of the territorial legal background, tax systems and global trends of financial information transparency and exchange as well as the prospect of development of every recommended location.
With a solid in-house background in international assets structuring, she proceeded her career development by being a partner of consulting company Pravo24 and advising others regarding their business activities. Thus, Margarita gained the respect of a large international and domestic client base providing them comprehensive solutions in assets structuring, international tax optimization, legal support of M&A transnational procedures, legal support of cross border business models and its implementation to EU market.
Being head of legal and tax planning department of Together Networks Ventures (IT holding, world top 10 in online socialising) and Tax-free Operator Company (VAT refund in EU, SIC, USA) she gained her experience developing holding structures for projects with over 200 included companies and 180 mln USD annual turnover.
Last year she led consulting companies in UAE that provides the business set-up, legal and management support to multinational corporations.
