Ahmad Hamza is the Executive Director of Free Zone at DMCC (Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre), appointed to the role in November 2018.
Serving on DMCC’s executive team, Ahmad oversees the company’s free zone operations and commercial growth plan as the world’s leading trade and enterprise hub for commodities.
Ahmad drives business development strategy, and manages a large team tasked with generating revenue, increasing customer satisfaction levels, and creating an optimum business environment for DMCC members to grow their enterprise.
With expertise in the fields of Information Technology, Corporate Governance, and Operations Management, Ahmad is an integral part of the organisation’s successful transformation policy.
Prior to joining DMCC in 2012, Ahmad held senior positions at both Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and HSBC Middle East. He is also a member of the Mudara Institute of Directors (IOD).
Ahmad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.

First joined CCB in 1999, she had been working in Custody Services Dept. for 18 years, and has rich experience in the field of Chinese stock market infrastructure, mutual fund, and global custody services. She had served as a Member of the International Business Committee of Asset Management Association of China, and actively participated in the schemes of opening up capital market to foreign institutional investors.

Associate Director - Corporate Finance

Mr. Zhang is the Associate Director of Corporate Finance team within the PwC China Deals Practice, and he was also once leading the China Business Desk in PwC Southeast Asia Network. He is dedicated to providing one-stop financing and M&A services to all kinds of clients in inbound/outbound deals.
Mr. Zhang graduated from Monash University and Australian National University, possessing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, a Master Degree in International Business and a Master Degree in Finance with Merit. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Prior joining PwC, Mr. Zhang had been working for a Chinese government authority, a UK-based asset management group, a Hong Kong-based investment bank, whereby he successfully managed several pre-IPO investments and IPO projects as well as an asset management fund.
Mr. Zhang joined PwC in 2015. His major task is to provide inbound/outbound financing and M&A services to clients. He is highly experienced with IT, infrastructure, education, auto and logistics sectors. During 2018 to 2020, he was on secondment in PwC Thailand, where he founded the local China Business Desk for PwC Southeast Asia Network.

Ms Yang Shu is the Vice General Manager of the International Business Department at China Construction Bank (Shenzhen Branch).
She is in charge of cross-border finance, RMB internationalization, new trade formats and CCB match plus.

Junjie Si is the Representative of Dubai Chamber International Office in China. He currently manages the Chamber’s Shenzhen Office, focusing on developing the Chamber’s network of stakeholder relations and assisting member companies with market expansion in Shenzhen and the further Greater Bay Area.
In his 7 years’ experience at the Chamber, Junjie played consecutively successful roles across projects for Dubai Association Center as well as the Chamber’s Global Business Forum Series.
He is a first year graduate of the “Dubai Business Associates”, a selective and highly regarded programme under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Mr. Hui Zhu is the General Manager of BOE Middle East DMCC for MENA Region. BOE Middle East Regional HQ is located in DMCC JLT Dubai, the world’s leading Free Zone.
Joining the organization in 2011, Mr. Hui Zhu is responsible for business development strategy, expanding the presence in region and manages a large team tasked with generating revenue, increasing customer and partner satisfaction levels.
With over 10+ years of experience, Mr. Hui Zhu has a solid grasp of the MENA markets and is also involved and holds business relationship with Chinese business community and Chinese MNC’s in MENA Region.

Rong Wei is the Regional Representative for the Far East market at DMCC, the world’s leading Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise.
Joining the organisation in 2015, Rong Wei is responsible for promoting the benefits of doing business in Dubai and establishining a prescense in DMCC and building strategic partnerships with government, agencies and consultancies both regionally and internationally.
Engaging with key stakeholders in the industry is a key focus for Rong Wei, where is an expert in providing advice and customised solutions to both large corporates and SME’s in China and beyond.
