Mariam Thomas is the Head of Truemark at Brink’s Global Services, where she leads the strategic growth and development of Brink’s technology-enabled collateral management solution for the jewellery and precious metals industry. With more than seven years of experience across secure logistics, technology-driven solutions, and collateral management, she brings a strong combination of operational expertise and commercial insight.

In her current role, Mariam works closely with financial institutions, jewellers, and industry stakeholders to strengthen collateral transparency, enhance risk management, and improve lending confidence through innovative technology and robust operational controls. She has played a key role in the successful growth of Truemark in the UAE and is currently driving its expansion into international markets, supporting broader adoption of secure and scalable collateral management solutions.

With deep knowledge of the precious metals, jewellery, and asset-backed finance sectors, Mariam is focused on delivering solutions that create value for lenders and borrowers alike by combining technology, security, and operational excellence to support sustainable business growth and risk mitigation. 

Teerthankar Das

Teerthankar Das is a seasoned banking professional with nearly three decades of experience, including more than 20 years in the UAE's corporate and institutional banking sector, with deep specialization in precious metals and bullion financing. Currently serving as Vice President, Precious Metals Coverage at RAKBANK, he manages lending solutions for jewellery retailers, bullion traders, refiners, manufacturers, and wholesalers in UAE for the bank.

Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in structuring innovative precious metals financing solutions, including industry-first RFID-secured gold lending structures, while managing large commodity-linked portfolios. He has held senior roles across banks in UAE, building strong relationships with leading market participants. 

Antony Furtado

Antony Furtado is a Manager at DMCC with more than 10 years of experience in commodities and trade finance. As part of the Tradeflow team, he works closely with banks and market participants on commodity and jewellery financing, including Shariah-compliant financing solutions.
