Milind Jain, the Credit Specialty Leader for the MENA region at Marsh, boasts over 18 years of expertise in the banking and credit insurance sectors. He is an expert in developing and implementing strategies to provide optimized credit solutions to corporates and financial institutions. Joining Marsh in 2016, he initially led the Trade Credit Business for MENA, later expanding his role to encompass various Credit Specialty solutions in 2020. Milind's extensive career includes notable positions at Coface as the Head of Banks & Broker Channel and with HSBC Bank India in Transaction Banking. His wealth of experience spans India and the UAE, positioning him as a seasoned leader in the credit insurance industry.

SANKAR RAMACHANDRAN
CREDIT SPECIALTIES GROWTH LEADER - MENA

As the Growth Leader at Credit Specialties, Sankar leverages his 18 years of experience in the credit insurance industry to deliver tailored services and solutions, supporting clients in managing credit risk. Formerly the Head of Distribution at trade credit insurer Coface, he demonstrated the expertise for navigating complexities and steering strategic initiatives during his 8-year tenure, including senior roles like Head of Direct Sales for GCC countries. Sankar's diverse background also includes positions such as Relationship Manager at Tasdeer (Qatar Development Bank) and Business Development Manager at Euler Hermes (now Allianz Trade). His commercial journey began as a Corporate Sales Manager at HDFC Bank, later moving to the UAE as a Relationship Manager for UAE & Bahrain with Morison Menon Group.

Akarsh is a senior member of the Political Risk & Structured (“PRSC”) MENA practice. In addition to his PRSC role, he leads the Infrastructure and Commodity Trading Solutions global initiatives for the Credit Specialties practice in the MENA region. Akarsh specializes in structuring bespoke solutions to protect an Insured’s equity interest in cross-border investments. He also has experience in supporting large commodity and financial institutions gain access to liquidity and protect against counterparty default risk. As the first specialist PRSC broker to establish in the region, a major part of Akarsh’s role has been to educate companies unfamiliar with the use and application of specialized PRSC and Credit Specialty (“CS”) insurance solutions.
