Feryal leads the implementation of DMCC’s Smart and Sustainable District Strategy and oversees the development of its iconic mixed-used districts of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) and Uptown Dubai.

Dr Hamad Buamim is the Chairman of the Board of DMCC. Previously, Dr Hamad served as President and CEO of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2022, where he led key business transformations in Dubai and chaired the ICC World Chambers Federation in Paris from 2018 to 2022. In addition to his current role at DMCC, Dr Hamad holds several other leadership and board positions, including Chairman of National General Insurance PJSC and Vice Chairman of Deyaar Properties PJSC. He also serves as a Board Member at Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, International Hotel Investment PLC - Malta, and Economic Zones World (JAFZA).

Daryl Teo oversees the Finance, Investment and New Market Expansion functions of CoinClan, one of the largest cryptocurrency P2P trading startups globally.
Prior to this Daryl held the roles of Chief of Strategy and Senior Vice President of Lazada Group, the largest E-Commerce company in Southeast Asia where he advised the Alibaba Group on investment across East Asia, including China and the Middle East. Earlier in his career, Daryl joined Grab Holdings as Head of Strategic Products, the largest ride-hailing company in Asia before moving to Singtel, Singapore’s national Telco as Head of Digital Transformation.

Eduardo Pedrosa co-edited an APEC Trade Agenda: The Political Economy of a Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific and “Towards Balanced and Sustainable Growth Strategies for Post Crisis Asia”. He has written extensively on regional issues including Towards an ASEAN Economic Community: Matching the Hardware with the Operating System and Implications of an Uncertain Global Economy on Integration Initiatives. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risk Report as well as their Ecommerce Expert Group. Before moving to Singapore, he was the coordinator of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s Southeast Asia cooperation program based in Manila and also the co-editor of its journal on regional economics and politics. He has also worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit and the Philippine government.

James Crabtree is a geopolitical analyst and author. Prior to joining ECFR, he was the Singapore-based executive director of the Institute of International Strategic Studies in Asia, where he led the organisation of the Shangri-La Dialogue security summit, and an associate professor in practice at the Lee Kuan Yew School, Asia’s leading school of public policy.
James spent ten years as a journalist and foreign correspondent, notably for the Financial Times, where he was both Mumbai bureau chief and comment editor. He is currently a columnist for Foreign Policy and writes for publications ranging from the Straits Times to The New York Times, the Guardian and Wired. He previously worked as a senior advisor in the UK prime minister’s Strategy Unit and has worked for various think tanks in London and Washington.

The DSI is a public private partnership backed by the ICC, Asian Development Bank, World Trade Organization, World Customs Organization and the Singapore government, that accelerates the digitalization of global trade.
Prior to joining the DSI, Pamela was Executive Vice President for Supply Chain Futures, and then EVP for Knowledge and Applications for the Fung Group, a Hong Kong based multinational supply chain manager where she was also the first Group head of Sustainability. She was named one of Asia’s ten A-list sustainability leaders in 2019, and is a recognized industry leader in this area. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Pamela was based in Shenzhen, China, as a Director of Global Finance for TCL Multimedia Technology, the first major Chinese company to go global by buying a foreign brand.

Michael Lawrence is the Chief Executive of Asia House, an independent think tank and advisory service. He leads the Asia House team in delivering business and market intelligence to some of the world’s biggest companies and governments in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Michael was appointed Chief Executive of Asia House in September 2012 after a distinguished career as a journalist, editor and executive in international media. He was Global Editor of Reuters from 2006-2012, leading a team of 3,000 journalists covering news in text, television and pictures from almost 200 bureaux around the world. Michael was awarded an OBE in the King’s 2023 New Year Honours list for his services to international relations between the UK and Asia.
