Meera Shinh is an experienced UK qualified Family Lawyer and member of the UK Solicitors Regulation Authority. She handles family matters within the jurisdiction of the UAE and the UK dealing with marital breakdown, divorce, financial settlements and children matters.
She deals with clients of all nationalities and can help both Muslim and Non-Muslim expats with drafting amicable settlement agreements with a view to ensuring the best outcome for her clients.
She also has vast experience in dealing with disputes involving children, these include applications relating to child arrangements, permission to relocate, prohibited steps and specific issue orders including travel bans.
Meera aims to help her clients in a cost-effective and amicable manner. She understands the sensitive nature of family disputes and strives to resolve cases in a non-confrontational and constructive way.
Meera’s practice also includes drafting wills and legacy planning matters. She can prepare wills for expats both within the UAE and abroad and advises on inheritance matters which may arise within the jurisdiction.
