Recognising sustainability in action

The DMCC Pioneers of Sustainability Awards celebrate companies taking meaningful action across environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas.

Developed with experts from Climate Essentials, Earthly and C3 – Companies Creating Change, the framework follows international standards and aligns with the UAE National Agenda priorities.

If your company is improving energy efficiency, reducing waste, supporting employee wellbeing or advancing transparency and governance, we want to hear from you. All DMCC member companies are eligible to participate, regardless of size or sector. You can take part whether you are at the start of your sustainability journey or already advanced in ESG practice.

Applications are open until 20 January 2026, and winners will be recognised at the DMCC Pioneers of Sustainability Awards Ceremony on 23 February 2026.

No, participation is free of charge.
Most companies can complete it in under 30 minutes if information is available.
You will be asked to provide details about your company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. This may include information on energy and water management, waste reduction, employee wellbeing, customer responsibility, ethics, transparency and risk management. Having key figures or examples ready will help you complete the survey efficiently.
Submissions are reviewed for assessment and insights. Aggregate findings may be shared, while company-specific data is kept confidential and not published without consent.
